NATURE QUEST: Watering Warriors (MEMBERS ONLY)

Calling All Young Nature Enthusiasts!

Are you ready to make a positive impact on our environment and have some fun along the way?

The RDCO (Regional District of Central Okanagan) & the EECO (Robert Hobson Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan) has invited us @ Sticks & Stones to join them in a fantastic adventure that will not only connect us with nature but also teach us about the importance of trees in our ecosystem. There have recently been some new trees planted @ Mission Creek Regional Park and they need our help watering these plants in order to keep them alive!

Why Should You Join?

1. Be a Nature Hero: By helping us water newly planted trees, you become a hero for the environment. Trees are essential for clean air, shade, and a healthier planet, and your contribution matters!

2. Hands-On Learning: Discover the magic of trees up close. Our friendly experts will teach you about the different types of trees, their life cycles, and how to care for them.

3. Make New Friends: Meet other kids who share your passion for the environment. Together, we can make a bigger impact.

4. Go home with a Sticks & Stones Certified Nature Quest Ambassador Certificate: this will prove your hours spent on this volunteer quest & will also aid us immensely in helping to secure future grant funding, as we prove that we are stewards for the environment

What to Bring?

Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.

A refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.

Your enthusiasm for nature and a desire to make a difference!

RSVP Today!

We have limited spots available, so don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to make new friends, learn about trees, and give back to our planet.

*** Currently open to OUTDOOR MEMEBERS ONLY... will open to the public for registration on October 9

*** In order to protect the trees, these are VERY small groups. We are not able to open any additional spots once it is sold out, as per the RDCO, but more spots will open up throughout the year to help us help the environment.

*** Younger siblings are permitted to join in on the day, but do not count towards the ratio... please only select tickets for children aged 5+

Let's come together, get our hands a little dirty, and help these young trees grow strong and tall! Remember, it's not just about today; it's about the future of our planet.

See you at the Tree Watering Party!
