TECHNOLOGY MEETS TRADITION
With stunning curves, awe-inspiring views and incomparable attention to detail, the KF Centre for Excellence is a magnificent feat of engineering and design – the perfect vessel to deliver an immersive aviation experience.
Shaped like the fuselage and wings of an aircraft, the centre sprawls 60,000 sq. ft.
Folding glass hangar doors make a 115’ clear span to allow aircraft such as the Convair CV580 and the DC-3 to enter the hangars.
LOWER LEVEL
Journey through an interactive aviation exhibition before exploring the hangars and their historic aircraft collection.
UPPER LEVEL
Enjoy some food and drinks at Freddie’s, a café and bar service on the Centre’s upper level with an airfield viewing gallery.

Journey into the world of aviation! Wander through four distinct zones that allow you to experience the history of aviation in the Okanagan Valley from unique vantages and perspectives, up high, down low, inside and out.
Ticket Cost: $5 / person (+ eventbrite fee)
All attendees aged 3+ require a ticket; adults must purchase tickets as well.
*** please note that this is a learning-based field trip and it has been asked that children not use this time to run around the space. The expectation is that children participating in the tour-portion of the field trip are paying attention to guide and not speaking over the information that is being provided on tour. If children are having a hard time paying attention, we ask that you step away from the tour with them so that others can hear the information being provided on the tour.
